I have been a patient to several dentists in this great country of ours but I have to say that my visit to this dentist ranks the worst dentist visit I have ever experienced in my life. My appointment was for a simple teeth cleaning. I go to dentist for cleaning every 6 months. Instead of cleaning my teeth and without even telling me how long it will take, the hygenist and another person started to perform the most painful PSR (Periodontal Screening & Recording). On several occasions, I had to be re-probed multi-times because the recorder got out of synch with the screener. It seemed that the hygienist was puncturing my epithelia each time she probed. It didn't seem like she was using a ball-tipped probe. Anyway, in 100% of the times I have teeth cleaning, they first perform scaling, cleaning, buffing and then some periodontal probing afterwards. This dentist did not even clean my teeth because I complained about his process. He wanted to also refer me to a periodontal dentist and tried to use scare tactics to make me agree. Never mind that 75% of the people has periodontal disease of some form. This dentist gave me sore gums not dental care.

This dentist is incompetent beyond reasonable doubt. He proposed root-canal as a solution for a one time mouth discomfort I had. He wanted to root-canal 2 possible teeth that maybe causing the discomfort which, according to him, he was not sure which one tooth really was causing the discomfort. He used scare tactics to push me to have the procedure done immediately or else he told me that he might not be in the office if my discomfort happens again. It came out, that all I had was jus that... a temporary discomfort. I was glad I did not agree to have a root-canal right there and there. This dentist is a shyster and tried to take advantage of me because he thinks I'm just a weak and a scared woman. Avoid this dentist like a plague.
