Please look up Dr. Destler's license with the dental board before using him. He has one administrative accusation on file, as well as multiple previous lawsuits (ventura county courts).
He fractured my childs tooth and on a different tooth, he failed to remove decay before doing her filling. My daughter now has to have two root canals due to Dr. Destler's incompetence.
His bedside manner is horrible, we saw him only twice. I was trying to save money to see a dentist in our network, but it has ended up costing us thousands of dollars to repair the damage he has caused to my child.

I have been seeing Dr. D since I was 9 years old (I am now 25). I LOVE LOVE LOVE him and his staff! They are all fabulous!!!

This dentist is just not very good. Unfortunately it took me three visits to realize how bad he is. He regularly adds "extra" costs on, does a poor job of drilling cavities (I am still feeling pain 3 months later) and subjects you to annoying conversations about his extreme politics. Never disagree with a man with a drill in his hand. The good thing is that it is easy to get an appointment---everyone else must already know about him. Even if you are the only one in the office, you can expect to wait an extra 10-15 while listening to him joke around with his staff.
He is the worst dentist I have ever been to....period.
About Hygienist: Hygenist was fine....too bad this dentist comes with this hygenist.
