Dr. Chalfin and his staff were wonderful. He is caring and patient and treated me on an emergency basis for a tooth abscess that developed while I was undergoing chemotherapy. The treatment was difficult because of the nature of the condition and a very old root canal filing, but Dr. Chalfin was amazingly competent and put me at ease with his patience and knowledge. His staff was also kind, professional and helpful. I able to speak to Dr. Chalfin on the phone whenever I had a problem and he personally called me to see how I was doing. I highly recommend him and his staff.

I have had a history of traumatic dental work. Dr. Chalfin is the kindest and most considerate person I have ever met in this profession. I have had two root canals with him and wish he could address all my dental issues. I give him my highest recommendation.

Sadly I have had to have two root canals in the last three years and was referred to Dr Chalfin by my dentist. I am a total dental phobic.. but I will go back to Dr Chalfin anytime .. he is pleasant, professional and the best in the business. Prices I am guessing are comparable for skilled endodontists in Manhattan. It was worth it though for a positive experience.

Dr Chalfin is great. I have had the unfortunate need to get two root canals and what can often be an uncomforatable situation he made less anxitey provoking and while one never thinks of root canal as "pleasant" it was as close as it gets. I had no problems afterwards..
