I also live in North Beach and saw his sign in the window. I called and made an appointment. The day of my appointment I was running 15 minutes late...i tried to call his office but his line was BUSY!!!! So I arrived 15 minutes late and apologized! He then REFUSED to see me for my dental check up and lectured me about how he came all the way into the city from marin county today to see me and how dare i show up 15 minutes late! I explained that i was sorry and that i had tried to call! HE said he would not see me and that i should call back later and make another apponitment to see him. He did this is a very aggressive manner, talking to me like i was one of his grandchildren! Needless to say i didn't! make the second appointment. seriously i would rather take a screwdriver to my own teeth then deal with this guy again!

I went to this guy because I live in North Beach and he's local...I'd seen his sign on Columbus. I had an abcess and was new to the area and needed a dentist's care right away. He wouldn't take any form of payment but cash! I have all the usual types of credit cards and when I asked if he'd take them he said, if you have a credit card go downstairs to the ATM and get cash using it! The whole thing was bizarre and the office creepy and old. Because he seemed so angry and unprofessional I sought treatment elsewhere (from Dr. Wallace Woo, down the street on Colombus, who I've gone to ever since).
