I was back home in Louisiana with several friends for the LSU/Bama and the Saints/49ers game when I tripped and fell, chipped my two front teeth. I was absolutely tramatized and thought I may have to sit on the Bama side of Tiger Stadium. ha!
I checked out Yelp, saw that Dr.Leggio had great reviews and made an appt. He and his staff were so sweet, compassionate and caring. They fixed me right up! I am very grateful to his staff, from Loc at the front desk, to Cheryl and Dr. Mike...Y'all are the BEST!!! Thanks so much! If you need a dentist, go see Dr. Leggio and his staff! I feel fortunate that I picked the right dentist in all of Nola!
About Front Desk: Loc was very sweet and professional. I was upset and I know she was trying to make me feel comfortable as I waited for my appt.

The Leggio Group- My family received services by one or more of the family of doctors. Experiences with replacing a crown required more than two visits in order to get it to fit properly. In a desperate attempt to make the crown fit, the older doctor decided to file my good bottom tooth down in order to make a good bite. Crazy, I was so shocked and left never to return again. Later, I was billed for the extra fittings even though it was obviously their fault. Another family member, had to have false upper dentures made. After more than three visits and complaints about the teeth not fitting properly, another cast had to be made. Still not a good fit. The teeth were big and no attention to get them to fit naturally in the mouth was given. The group did seem to take our complaints seriously, but good work quality was not there. Finaly, we just left the practice.
About Front Desk: No problems with scheduling. However, appointments have to made weeks in advance.

About Hygienist: Cleanings by the Hygenist were done in a professional manner. Great manners and very polite. Paid great attention to each and every teeth! Sorry, I don't remember her name.

This dentist office is terribly run/managed. They don't have the mental capacity to schedule appointments correctly.
I had a voicemail confirming an appointment, yet got bumped until their next available date because they had given my appointment I had scheduled over 2 months prior to someone else.

The doctor is fine it is the office management that is completely rude and out of control. This isn't the first time I have had a bad experience with them but till now I let it go. The staff is rude and unprofessional. I actually like the doctor but I will not be returning or recommending anyone to his office.
I just was charged for seeing the doctor when he didn't even come in the room. Its not even that much more of a charge but its just the point of getting ripped off every time I step foot in this office. ridiculous!

Dr. Leggio where do I start ? Ok I had an extraction done by Dr. Mike, a week after the extraction I had pain and displeasure in the area of the pull. I phoned in for a follow up saw Him and he stated that the tooth was healing correctly. The next week passed and I was STILL in Pain so I phoned in, left my job on a lunch break to find that i needed 3 novacain shots and emergency surgery to extract the BONE that had came through my gums.

Dr. Mike is a pleasant, well-knowledged dentist. The environment is satisfactory and clean. Front office help is not as good as prior to Hurricane Katrina and could use a bit of improvement.
