This was my first root canal and I was dreading it. It was easier than a crown and much more pleasant. Dr. Siegel was informative and caring. I would not hesitate recommending him for anyone needing this procedure.

We were referred to Dr. Siegel by our primary dentsit. I started to go back with my son and they told me that I couldn't go. I asked why not. She said she would send the doctor out to talk to me. He never came out. He sent another assistant instead. I asked her why I wouldn't be allowed back with my son. She said because they had to cut the gum open and it was a nasty procedure that I wouldn't want to see. I informed her that I have worked in an Operating Room. She went back and came back out and said the doctor wanted me to come back. I went back and he told me that he didn't have time to deal with me 'passing out' and taking care of the patient. I told him that I am a Nurse and to trust me when I say that I am not going to pass out on him. He then changed his story and said that it was a sterile enviroment and I couldn't be back there. I asked him if it was a sterile enviroment, where his gloves and facemask were. This made him irate. He then said, "My office, my rules. If you don't like it, you can take your son and leave." HUGE red flag in my book. I took my son and left. I called our dentist before even leaving the parking lot to get a referral to another endodontist. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Knowledgeable and experienced but poor bedside manner. Very willing to listen to questions.
About Front Desk: I'd give a 0 if I could. Terrible front desk staff. Rude, fail to submit dental claims on time, unflexible with scheduling. As a mother of 3 children I interact with a lot of medical staff, Dr. Siegel's front desk team lead (Kathy) is by far the worst in my 15 years as a mother. Would never go back

Had root canal. Dr. explained my options in great detail. Was kind and solictious during procedure. 7 hours after procedure I have no pain. Seems like a great success.

Dr. Siegel did a root canal for me years ago, did an excellent job. Nearly pain free! Cost was reasonable at around $800.

My mother was seen as a patient by Dr Siegel 9/20/2012. My mother & I met by chance at her pharmacy. As soon as she saw me, she collapsed in my arms crying. I asked her if her pain was that bad, was that why she was so upset. She told me no & through her sobbing told me the horrid story of her treatment by Dr Siegle. He cursed at her & was extemely rough with her treatment. She has a huge tori in the roof of her mouth making xrays very painful for her. My mother is a strict Baptist and for a professional man to repeatedly use the "GD it" phrase during his treatment of my mother is uncalled for. I do not recommend seeing Dr Siegle for treatment. I have called his office asking to speak to the Dr but he was too busy. I, Dr Siegel am not a Baptist, therefore have no problem with calling you an ASSHOLE.
