I play football, but i'm deathly afraid of dentists. My general dentist told me that i needed a root canal, so I finally went to see Dr. Esther Tam. When I first met her, she was so reassuring and was very thorough in explaining what a root canal was about. I was a bit hesitant but i knew i needed to get the work done to save my tooth. The root canal was actually painless and my toothache never came back! Dr. Tam always asked how I was doing during the treatment and getting a root canal ended up being a relaxing experience. If you need a root canal, or just want to meet a caring root canal specialist, I would highly recommend Dr. Tam!

Only OK. Perhaps she is too young as she seemed inexperienced and unsure of herself.

I went in today as an emergency patient, refered by the office of my normal dentist who is out of town. Dr. Tam initially came of as fresh out of school or something because she had to poke 3 or 4 times with the Aenesthetic needle b4 getting it right. but that was the worst of the visit. turns out i needed an emergency root canal. Cost was $400(which is also the hourly rate)i paid out of pocket. Dr tam did a great job with making me feel comfortable and keeping me informed . she is oh so attentive and capable. this came in handy as i could see every bloody swab they pulled out of my mouth...overall it was a great visit the office itself is topnotch A++.....out of time....i scheduled part two of the root canal for early next week..still a little numb now.....to be concluded..broketoothbro
