If you want to waste your money on , for the most part, unnecessary treatments, go to Dr. Hart. The average cost of deep cleaning (scaling and root planing is between 150-225 dollars per quadrant. Dr. Hart charges 345 dollars per quadrant. The average price of arestin treatments is 25-30 dollars per pocket. Dr. Hart charges 95 dollars per pocket. Either she is the James Joyce of dentistry, or she is taking all of her patients for a ride. She must have one comfortable lifestyle.

Top notch in quality, professionalism, competence, and most of all caring. The staff is friendly and Dr. Hart takes the time to talk to you and find out what your concerns are. She does a through check for oral cancer, gums, cavities, and checks or grinding. There are no lectures on not flossing or not having been to a dentist for a long time. Dr. Hart's approach to care is conservative with emphasis on educating you on the process and making sure you are comfortable throughout.
I did NOT feel anything when I had my cavity filled. She did a great job making the broken down tooth look like a tooth again. I also get complemented for my "beautiful smile" from people I meet ( Dr. Hart did four venners on my four front teeth. ) All in all, I would rate Dr. Sarah Hart as a kind, caring dentist extraordinaire! Only negative: the office phone # listed is wrong; It should be: (617) 492-1999.

I grew up fearful of dentists because of a childhood dentist who filled my teeth and ignored me when I would say I felt pain.
As a result, my teeth went on neglected for years because I couldn't bring myself to go a dentist. Through a referral from a friend, I finally had the gumption to call Dr. Hart's office and make an appointment. I needed to have some teeth removed and have them replaced with implants. I had come to Dr. Hart under the recmmendation that she was gentle and painless; However, it wasn't till I had the work done that i believed it.
I also had some front teeth capped and veneered. Friends
keep telling me that I look happier and I find myself smiling more often. I feel more comfortable about myself.
I highly recommend Dr. Hart to whoever has been avoiding the dentist because of fear of pain. Dr. Hart has renewed my faith in going to the dentist and taking care of my teeth once again!
