I have had fillings and crowns done by Dr. Scimone. He's a great dentist and I'm someone who's a little chicken about needles. Novocaine injections I hardly felt ,if at all so anxiety is right out the window. The staff is so friendly and efficient as well. I recommend Dr. Scimone 110%.
About Hygienist: Carmen is so friendly and it makes the whole cleaning process more enjoyable. She's thorough and my teeth feel super clean when I leave.

Dr. Scimone is a great dentist. He's very knowledgeable and give great advice on how to improve your tooth and gum healthh. His hiegenists are also the best we ever had.

I was disspointed after having been a patient for years after my last visit. I no longer had dental insurance, and informed the office before my visit, and was quoted a price for a cleaning and x-rays. While I was in the office, they gave me an additional x-ray that had a seperate (and very high) price, without checking with me. I was shocked at the end of the visit when it cost over $300 instead of $150 or so. Plus, the office said I could pay it off over 3 months, and I soon recieved a bill for the entire amount. Though I wrote a complaint letter, nothing was ever resolved.

I've moved to Maine and continue to see Dr. Scimone. Very gently and approachable manner, great office staff. Can't say enough about whatr a great dentist he is. I hope he'll never retire!

I've been a patient of Dr. Scimone for 25 and he and his office staff feel like family. He is extremely competent, great hands, quick yet gentle, and exudes confidence and reassurance. His hygienists have been thorough and pleasant. The office and equipment are a bit shabby compared to some. His location near Central Square is almost ideal, with free parking behind the building. He's interested in alternative medicine and diets, though I haven't participated. I couldn't recommend Dr. Scimone more highly.
