I was referred to Dr. Abrass after having a tooth prepared for a crown. I couldn't bite on the tooth although it didn't hurt otherwise, and was sent to Dr. Abrass to see if I needed a root canal before getting the permanent crown.
Dr. Abrass was very honest and kind. He told me to wait a few weeks first to see if my tooth nerve healed. I am a borderline case and many other endodonists would have simply gone ahead with a root canal. He is playing it safe still by monitoring it and taking other precautions, but he won't do the procedure unless it's absolutely necessary, while still playing it safe! Cheers for a good, totally honest endodontist!

I am very impressed with Dr. Abrass's demeanour, and understanding of patient satisfaction. He was a great dentist who knew how to put me at ease during my root canal. Very gentle and soft-spoken - definitely a great dentist to be referred to! :)

Dr. Abrass has excellent chair-side manners. I needed a root canal redone, on an emergency basis. Dr. Abrass gave me a clear diagnosis of the problem, and explained the necessary procedure in a way that instantly put me at ease.
The procedure itself was painless, and the result exceeded my expectations: Dr. Abrass not only took care of the infected root canal; he also was able to save the previous crown.
When after the treatment, I had a follow-up question, he was easily accessible by phone, to answer my question, and overall demonstrated an unusual sense of patient care.
I highly recommend Dr. Abrass, both for his professional skills, as well as his personal demeanor.

Dr. Abrass did my Root canal: what an excellent job he did, no pain and complete comfort. He explained everything in details and demonstrated complete knologe of his specialty. To top it all, he is classy and compassionate. This is a doctor that makes your root canal experinece pleasent.

Dr Abrass is a gentle in his approach but still has years to mature in his job. He is difficult to get hold of post your dental treatment with the one answer to problems (medications and antibiotics), which shows he has no grasb of this subject
He never offer any method of communications apart from the main office. However he is very attentive caring and not money oriented

I saw Dr. Abrasse in the Boston office to start my root canal. It was my first time there and I was impressed with the office's decore but not with my doctor. He was very much late with my appointment as most doctors are but the most annoying thing was that once he started working on my tooth he kept having to leave the room to answer phone calls and talk to patients. I felt that his mind wasn't totally on my tooth. And that worries me. I left the office with a handful of pain medication and hopefully my tooth will feel better. But overall, the procedure was not that bad. However it can be a lot better.

I saw Dr. Abrass in the Wellesley Office and I have to say I have never had a better experience with a dentist. I was referred to him by another endodontic specialist who couldn't complete my treatment because he was unable to find a canal. Dr. Abrass was able to finish the treatment in just an hour while putting me at complete ease. He was also very caring and took time to answer all my questions. When I went back to my general dentist to make the crown, my dentist viewed the x-rays of the root-canaled tooth. He told me my tooth was an extremely difficult case and that he is truly impressed by Dr. Abrass' work. I will definitely return to him if I need another root canal.

I had my root canal done by Dr Abrass. He is very caring and atentive. He took the time to explain the procedure thouroghly and spent all the time needed. It was a completely comfortable experience and I would highly recommend him.

I saw Dr. Abrass a few months ago in his Wellesley office and I have to tell you that my experience could not have been better. He performed a root canal for me and gave me immediate relief and did it with no discomfort to me and in one visit. I am very pleased and would reccomend him highly.
