Sept., 2011 While practicing dentistry in Spring Hill, TN, Dr. Gunnell installed 3 crowns. Less than 1 year later, the replacement dentist said that 2 of those crowns had "open margins and decay". Each crown was approx. $900.00. Dr. Gunnell's work was sloppy, unprofessional, and not even approaching acceptable. When he suddenly left this area to return to FL, we were given no notice but told that he and his wife had returned to southern FL because they could not sell their house in FL. I am pursuing this issue directly with Dr. Gunnell and the American Dental Association. I would not recommend him to anyone. I urge others to report similar experiences to this agency also. I expect a full refund because the teeth must be saved by redoing the process.
