As a basketball player for the University of Tulsa, during my time playing for the University, I was struck in the mouth during practice and had a tooth knocked out and a tooth knocked loose. The University sent me to Dr. Johnson's office to get a replacement tooth implant procedure. Dr. Johnson did the implant procedure and that replacement tooth is still in my mouth today and in excellent shape thanks to his quality work. Years later the other loose tooth fell out. With little effort, Dr. Johnson was able to locate my records from years earlier and without hesitation, kindly wrote a letter to the University acknowleding that the trauma causing the tooth to fall out was 'rooted' in the cause of the practice mishap. Even though the University failed to recompense me for the trauma, Dr. Johnson's implant procedure prices were more than adequate to rationalize driving from Dallas to Tulsa to have the procedure done compared to the cost of other surgeons in the Dallas Metroplex. Furthermore, his manner and post surgery care was excellent; he even called to check on me after the procedure on a friday evening. The procedure was done with local anethsisia with almost no pain; he and his staff too care to minimize any pain. Highly rec.

4 implants over 15 year period. I would not go to anyone else unless he retires. He is not cheap, does not waste money on fancy office but he is absolutly pain free.

I was recommended to another oral surgeon for my daughter's wisdom teeth but would have had to travel further. Dr. Johnson was closer to us and even though I was apprehensive when I saw his office, I learned that just because someone has an office with high dollar decor, it does not make them the best in town. He called that evening to check on my daughter which shocked me. Who takes the time to do that anymore? Apparently Dr. Johnson. I would recommend this oral surgeon. Don't just choose who you are referred to. And, just because they have a fancy office doesn't make them the best choice.

Broken Jaw. He wired shut. He was rough. Does things that hurt and does not tell you beforehand. He is not good about telling you about the treatment plan. He wants you in and out of the office fast. You are only $$$ to him & his staff. There is one nurse that is nice. Front desk lady wants you to pay and then go away. Has been extremely stressful. Our vet is more caring than him - by far! Find somebody else!!!!!!! Hopefully it will be okay in the end. Scard to death to have everything removed.

My 8-year old son had to have 3 teeth pulled up in the front. Dr. Johnson was recommended by another dentist who's kids had seen him as well. The initial consult with the office was very reassuring and the staff were very friendly. Dr. Johnson made every effort to assuage my and my son's fears. The procedure went well and my son was back at school the next day and playing baseball that next night. They made everything as easy and stress free as possible. Will definitley use again!

My daughter had her wisdom teeth surgically removed. During the procedure, she experienced severe pain although she was sedated. Her father heard her screaming and crying all the way to the waiting room. She was not supposed to remember anything, however, she remembers everything...right down to the doctor mocking her wimpers of pain and the nurses laughing. Would not recommend this doc to anyone...
