Im here in Mass for business from VA and I have been having EXTREME dental pain from a pesky wisdom tooth!! After 3 visits to the ER I found DR George Sawan. He got me in IMMEDIATLY and pulled this tooth!! Anyone who has had a wisdom tooth extraction knows it can be hard to do. Not for him tho! 10 min and it was out and in one piece! I had it done around 2 pm today and still NO pain!!!! This guy is EXCELLENT!!! Best dentist I have ever been to! THANK YOU SO MUCH DR SAWAN!!! I just wish You were in VA!!!! You are a life saver!!! Forever thankful, Stephanie Kendle

The worst dentist ever. Although I can say they are very professional I guess they missed the course in human relations...EVERY time I was there I waited AT LEAST half an hour before they accepted me PAST the appointment time. Because they seemingly take THRICE the patients they can handle simultaneously I had to wait LONG periods of time even during the treatments. The peak was 1 HOUR I repeat: one whole hour I had to wait in the chair while he was treating other patients with those cotton balls in my mouth. I yelled for help and the assistant came and said he will be 'right' with me. When he finally came back he said he was 'sorry'. Last time I was there I dared to ask him why do I have to wait so long every time to get in if I come at the appointed time. He answered: (the original un-edited answer) - "If you don't like this you find another dentist". Well, guess what.

Dr. Joseph Sawan (George Sawan's younger brother) is a kind and understanding dentist. He is genuinely concerned about my fright for all dentistry work and no matter whom. Although he no longer has the Walpole or Brockton offices, and just has the Framingham office with his brother (it's not as nice of an office & the area is very poor, though central & sometimes hard to find parking), I still go to him because of his demeanor & concern for my fear of pain! A negative (besides the location) is that I always have to wait an exhaustable amount of time before I get seen. Once I waited over an hour! ...although once, I was brought right in. I have to make sure I clear the day for an hour appointment expecting very long delays. On the other hand, maybe that's what it takes to comfort patients. I also don't enjoy being x-rayed in the big hallway closet with everyone walking by, but that's minor I guess. It's definately not posh. Most of his lower-level staff are "local" but they seem to do a decent job. I love the docs' cute parents working the front desk.
About Hygienist: Overall, they are ok. I like Jensen only. The girls are too distracted with watching or listening to the in-room tv while they work & don't do a thorough job. It's good enough though. I love to chat with Dr. Joe afterwards.

The best dentist I have ever had. Dr. Sawan treats his patients witha rare combination of care, concern, and ethics. He is always willing to take the time and explain the best options for the patient. I would recommend him to anyone who asked
