Dr. was very friendly and seemed knowledgable. Scheduling was easy and they worked with my schedule. Receptionist was not always helpful.

Dr. Gentuso is by far the best dentist I have ever had, of many! He is extremely skilled, produced best possible results on my front tooth crown. Has replaced and added fillings that are invisible. Never causes pain when all my other dentists have (I have sensitivity from gum recession and enamel thinning). His staff is excellent as well. Gentuso and his hygenists are extremely personable (he is a really great person - smart and funny and kind) and all are excellent with my mother and children as well as my husband. We feel very, very lucky to have become part of Gentuso's patients group.

I actually enjoy my semi-annual visits to Dr. Gentuso!
The receptionist and hygienists are always very friendly and Dr. Gentuso is easy to talk with.
I feel confident that he is technically competent, I've always been pleased by the quality of the care I've received, and his prices are in line with the rates approved by my dental insurance.
Unfortunately I can't tell you much about how well he handles complex problems as I haven't had a cavity in 20 years!

Dr. Gentuso and his staff are very friendly. I've only needed basic care (cleanings and a couple of fillings) but all have gone smoothly. The office is conveniently on a few MBTA bus routes.

We have been with Dr. Gentuso for about 20 years. Even when we moved further away, we have stayed with his practice. Best dentist. Good crowns, Sensible treatment advice. Good network of others for referrals. Also good person. When my husband became disabled from a brain tumor, Dr. and staff did what needed to be done. Once I was parked too far for my husband to walk and Dr. G stood with him on the street corner while I ran and got the car. I asked if his other patient would mind waiting, and he said "We don't have any patients that would mind in this case."

Dr. Gentuso and his staff are excellent! By far the best dentist we have ever had. Very competent and friendly. Dr. G. also made an excellent referral to a good oral surgeon. You rarely have to cool your heels in the waiting room. I can't really speak to the cost as I haven't done any comparison shopping, but my insurance company hasn't objected. There's only 2 drawbacks. If you don't live in Medford and have to drive, parking is a problem. Plan to arrive 30 minutes before your appointment to get a spot. Also, the doctor is so popular that you can only book routine cleanings 8 months ahead. Then, when you get to the 6 month mark, you can call to see if there are any cancellations and drop everything based on availability. Still, a good dentist is worth a lot, so we have been willing to deal.
