Dr. Grossman gave me composite veneers when I knocked out the inner corner and half of two of my front teeth. They were bumpy and rough looking, and were too big. When I went back to my regular dentist he fixed them to look somewhat better, but eventually both of the composites broke off in one way or another, one biting into a sandwich, and the other from a light bump with a plastic mug.
The visit itself was terrible. Dr. Grossman was sick and sniffly, and kept wiping his nose on the back of his arm above the gloves. He was gruff and rude. I was upset about losing my teeth, and he showed absolutely no empathy. When he showed me the new teeth in the mirror I said I wasn't sure, because they looked terrible, and that I wanted to show my parents in the other room. He was incredibly rude about that, acting as if it was childish and that I was being unreasonable. He acted as if I was being ridiculous wanting the teeth to look somewhat like normal teeth, as if all composites looked rough and overlarge.
Several months after this I had to get a root canal on one of the teeth.
