I have been going to Dr. Walker for more than 25 years. I could talk about their every day services but I can tell you what stands out in my mind over the years. My mother passed away in 2015 but received dental services there. Anyone who has been a caretaker for an elderly parent can attest that there are many areas and opportunities for staff and doctors to not understand the their unique needs. It takes a very patient person to deal with some issues unique to aging parents. Dr. Walker and staff were always patient and understanding without any prompting from me. When I went to appointments without my mother the staff always inquired about her. Now in 2021, I switched my teen daughter from a pediatric dental office to Dr. Walkers office. My daughter has extreme anxiety along with other mental health issues. I gave the office a heads up about the anxiety issues. I already had confidence in Dr. Walker and all of the staff based on their treatment of my mother over the years. It was reinforced when my daughter left saying they were the nicest people in the dentist office. She did not leave stressed and anxious and actually had a smile on her face when she told me about her visit.

Dr. Walker has basically had to fix what another dentist did. Everywhere the other dentist touched, I now need a root canal. I was SO nervous but Dr. Walker was awesome and literally the only pain-free dentist I've ever experienced. The first time in I had to take 10mg valium I was so nervous. The second time I took less, and the 3rd time I didn't need any and had no anxiety. For me, the worst part is that I still need a couple more root canals but my insurance is maxed out until end of April and I will be moving from the area before then. I'm considering just paying out of pocket before I leave! He is very nice and has a calm energy. He makes cute jokes to put you at ease, and he really knows what he's doing. Also, the office staff is just SO nice and helpful.
