I went in asking for a crown to fix a tooth that was chipped and had been repaired numerous times before. The doctor talked me into a large filling. The work he did was quite a few shades darker than the surrounding teeth, making the tooth stand out even more. Now, less than a year later, my new permanent dentist has said the tooth will need a crown because there is a cavity underneath the filling. I will end up having to pay to have it worked on twice because Dr. Strokowski did such a poor job.
The office was antiquated (the equipment was probably new in the 1950's), the dentist wanted to put tools back in my mouth after he had dropped them on the floor, the receptionist was very rude every time I tried to work with her, and she didn't want to be bothered with my insurance. It took her almost a year to get my insurance billed correctly. Would I recommend this dentist to someone else? Not even my worst enemies. There's thousands of better dentists and my recommendation to you is to find one.
About Front Desk: RUDE. Refused to contact to my insurance office, demanding I call them myself and get the information she wanted. After I had gone home and called them, I called her, and she refused to take the info via phone and wanted me to walk back to the office and give it to her. After she finally got it submitted to the insurance, they denied it because "Practitioner has not provided this office with enough information to determine necessity of procedures." It took them a full year to bill our insurance correctly.

Our family dentist for more than 7 years. Always helpful, reassuring, kind and efficient. Never trying to sell me anything. Sensible, non-reactionary and very caring. We love Dr. Strokowski and his entire staff.

I was looking for a dentist who is concerned that I have healthy teeth, nothing more. The dentist I tried before Dr. Strokowski pushed me to have lots of expensive procedures and was very focused on the cosmetic. I'm sure Dr. Strokowski would be helpful if I had cosmetic concerns, but all I care is that my teeth are healthy and he respects that and helps me keep them that way!
