He really was attentive and explained all aspects of the procedure. I also felt great aftewards with minimal pain.

I had to have my jaw bone scrapped free from an infections. The dentist was overly concerned that I feel no pain. I felt none. I have to say they were very concerned how the patient felt. I skipped the headset but the XM radio was good.

I went to Dr. Parris after being informed rather unpleasantly by my dentist that there was "something wrong" with one of my teeth. When I met Dr. Parris he immediately made me feel at ease with his witty jokes. He told me I needed a root canal and not to worry.
He began the procedure by numbing the surface of my gum with a q-tip and then after I couldn't feel anything numbed the entire area for the root canal. I didn't even feel the injection.
He gave me a headset and radio to listen to during the procedure which was very relaxing. Then he started the procedure. He was very quick and I didn't feel any pain. After the procedure I kept expecting to have horrible pain--but I didn't.
I was also very happy with the office staff. Making the appointment was very easy--I was amazed at how nice they were. The assistants in the office were also very kind. They made me feel at ease immediately.
I would absolutely recommend Dr. Parris to anyone who needs a dental procedure.

I went to Dr. Parrish for a root canal. I was extremely nervous because this was my first one. He put me at ease with his witty jokes. He also provided me with a headset to listen to so I wouldn't have to hear the drill and gave me a stuffed bear to hold. Many people have told me that they experienced a lot of pain following the procedure at other dental offices. I did not suffer from any pain during or after my experience with Dr. Parrish. In the unfortunate case that I would need another root canal, I would definitely return to Dr. Parrish.

I live in Reading, Pennsylvania. It was a Sunday and the whole side of my face was throbbing with pain. I was in tears. I called Dr. Parris and he saw me that same day. I felt immediate relief. Dr. Parris knew exactly what needed to be done for my horribly infected root canal. I did not even know there was such a specialist for root canals, Endodontists. I made the mistake of allowing my family dentist to perform the original root canal and that is how I ended up at Dr. Parris's office on a Sunday. Thank God! Thank God! What a difference a specialist makes! If I ever have to have another root canal, I am going to see Dr. Parris first and have it done the right way! He is a Genius!

After searching all over Philly, Dr. Parris was the only dentist willing to see me at 12 a.m. on one of the busiest days in Philly history (Live 8). Not only was he warm, inviting, and gentle, it was one of the quickest procedures I've ever had done. I'm very grateful that we have someone in this city who is not only willing to come out at any hour of the day to make someone else a little bit more comfortable, but is so wonderful and gentle at what he does.

The doctor took me as an emergency at 12:30 a.m. He is a real life saver. I don't know what I would have done without him. He has a great attitude and a wonderful bedside manner. A painless experience.
