WhenI first started with Dr. Katz, I had an unreasonable fear of dentists. He worked with me for years to overcome the issue. Along the way, he has provided consistantly superior work for me.

I would not recommend Dr. Katz. The medical aspect of services was good. However, the administration of their office is consistently problematic. The worst part of it is that they never advise you with respect to costs up front, so even if you have dental insurance, you will be surprised by a bill of some sort. In one instance, they slipped paperwork under my nose during a dental procedure while I was in the chair, and then later of course I learned that there was a big up-charge. It was crazy, then the office manager told me that it was normal. Overall, they obviously have a policy and trying to nickel-and-dime people with surprises to increase their revenue, but it results in an overall negative experience.
About Hygienist: Hygenienists were very competent, professional, and pleasant. No complaint about the hygeniests at all.
