Unfortunately I can not recommend Dr. Lau to anyone. I am writing this evaluation so that other patients do not have similar experiences to what I had. After seeing Dr. Lau for three years, I decided to visit another dentist who was closer to home. Upon getting X-rays at the new dentist, I had 7 cavities. (Previously, I had 1) My new dentist ordered the X-rays from Dr. Lau in order to compare my teeth from 6 months-3 years previously. Even in the X-rays which were 6 months and a year old, I had obvious cavities. My new dentist informed me that these cavities had been there for some time and had been left untreated. Although Dr. Lau was giving me bi-annual X-rays, he was not looking at them/ deciding to treat them. Even after insurance, I still paid $800 out of pocket and had to visit the dentist every week for a month. Had I continued going to Dr. Lau, there is a high probability that I would have had to get root canals.
About Hygienist: Dr. Lau is the hygentist.
