In 2005 Dr Jacobs complet the second part of a dental implant. Soon after the crown began to feel loose. I called and made an appointment. By the time i got to the office Dr jacobs had "retired' and was no longer practicing.
The doc who bought the practice tried to take the crown off to see why it was loose. She was unable to remove it. At that time I asked that dentist to call Dr jacobs and explain my problem.
I stated if I needed a re-do I din't feedl I should pay the $1400.00
again. That dentist said she would take care of letting her know.It was agreed we would wait until thecrown became loose or come out on its own to proceed.
Two months ago the crown came off doc #2 tightened it and put it back on. Soon it was loose again. I went to the oral surgeon who did the surgery and he said if the crown was tightened properly and loose again it needed to have another crown put on.
Dr Jacobs was called by Doc#2. Dr jacobs took my adress and info and said she would reimburse me. Last week dentist #2 said dr jacobs called the oral surgeon and he said I didn't need to have a new crown!
Doc#2 said she is not going to "touch" that tooth. Oral surgeon is not returning my calls....Dr Jacobs has not had the courtesy of calling .
