I've been going to Dr. Phillips since he joined the Practice when Dr. Taubenfeld had it. I went in on a spur of the moment, when I had a toothache. Since that time I've had a bridge, and mumltiple crowns and fillings done. I've found him to have a very caring and concious attitude. He an his staff are constantly making sure you are comfortable, and at ease. The facilities are always very clean and comfortable. Dr. Phillips is always sensitive to your reactions during work, and makes sure there is no pain. All of the work I have had done there, has been excellent. Dr. Phillips has a light manner, and is very easy going which helps put you at ease. While he may not be the cheapest guy in town, he does take the time to explain all of the options, and provides his recommendation of which option is the right one to use. Dr. Phillips has been a real plus for me. Dr. Phillips front office staff is always polite and professional, and very patient oriented. I've had a number of dentists and have been very unhappy with the attitude and treatment, so going to Dr. Phillips was indeed a refreshing, and reassuring experience.
About Hygienist: Dr. Phillips has a few different hygientist's and each has been excellent. They don't berate you for the condition of your teeth. They are more interested in talking with you about how to improve that condition, and reduce the damage that may be occuring. Again, each of the hygienists I have had work on me there has been excellent.

Let me start by saying I've been going to Dr. P since soon after he started working in the Arbutus practice of Dr. Taubenfeld. I don't know how many years that has been, but its been a long time!
Dr. Phillips and his entire staff are wonderful to visit. I used to hate going to the dentist, and Dr. P has made all that be in the past. He is very patient about explaining what he's doing, why he's doing it, what kind of options exist.
His staff is always friendly, helpful, and concerned about the patient's well being. What I like the most about this practice is the friendly banter that goes on all of the time between the Dr's and the Staff, particularly Dr. P. It's very re-assuring when the staff is obviously happy to be a part of the business of keeping you healthy.
About Hygienist: I love her! She's just so much fun! she does really nice work and is very cautious about any discomfort. She doesn't give you lectures, but is very encouraging about positive results.

I went to the Sulphur Spring Road office because I had been treated for years by the previous practice owner. Under Dr. Phillips, whom I never dealt with personally, the practice has become less patient friendly particularly regarding paying for services and billing. You are made to feel like a deadbeat if you don't pay when you come to the exit window. Otherwise, my cleanings have been fine.

Outstanding, Plesant fellow, Good sense of humor. Friendly and the work was very satisfactory.
