I have had regular dental work with Dr. Blake for many years before my insurance company changed and I could not get the free dental cleanings. I go to another dentist for this -- but have never been as happy as when I was with "Carol." More recently, I decided to go back to Dr. Blake to have veneers put on my badly stained teeth -- without the insurance. I really appreciated the dialogue we had about this process. When the porcelain colors did not work, Dr. Blake sent them back. Not once, but twice. On one hand, that could be frustrating, but I was very glad she did so. She takes pride in her work, explains what she is doing (if you want to know!), and ensures that you are comfortable with the process. I will be going back to her again. I always get compliments now on my teeth and am so glad that I went back to Dr. Blake for this procedure.

I love Dr. Blake. She is so friendly and doesn't make you wait around. She always acts like you are her only patient. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist in the DC area (their office is located right next to the Friendship Heights metro stop).
