I went once and he gave me professional treatent and told me after I asked that I lot of treatments from my prior dentist was not necessary and costly. He told me I will charge you what you need no more. Then I had a tooth that disintegrated and I thought it would be hundreds it was VERY reasonable.
He is a kind and friendly man...he's an honest broker ....

Excellent dentist, friendly office. Isn't out to fix teeth that don't need any work, nor refix previous dentistry done by other denstists that is still in tact. Performs work that is only needed.
About Hygienist: Always very good and makes your mouth feel great.

Dr. Feinstein is an artist/dentist. He put an inplant in after I broke my tooth. He respects my adversion to x-rays even though he does not agree (most dentists are x-ray addicted). He treats my whole family with respect and always does a great job. He is easy to talk to about any dental issue. I would not change my dentist after knowing what kind of incompetence is out there. When you find a good dentist stick with her or him.

Dr Feinstein is very friendly, honest about treatment options, and definitely does not overtreat.
Office staff was very helpful with my insurance company (accommodating when insurance inexplicably and repeatedly denied payment) and was very flexible in allowing me to choose/change appointment times.
The office is nothing fancy, but you do get friendly, personal service. Definitely not a supersized place where you get pushed through!
About Hygienist: Joyce (I believe!) was very friendly and thorough with her cleaning.

painful novacaine injection (first such in years); dentist actually got in argument with/dressing down of assistant while I was in the chair. "cleaning" on initial visit consisted of scraping a couple of teeth (hope I did not get charged for this). I am a physician and know that sometimes a great chairside manner is not connected with quality of care but I will not go back

I have been going to Dr. Jay Feinstein since I was born and still come back all the way from New York City to see him. Not once have I ever understood the fear of going to the dentist with his practice. With the one cavity I did have he was able to remove it without painkillers or any pain. I could never imagine going to anyone else.

My family and I have been going to him for about 20 years. He has filled numerous teeth for me, did a great job on 4 crowns (so much so that I can't even tell now which are real teeth and which are not). I love the hygienist. His wife if the receptionist, and she is always pleasant and helpful. I am very happy with his work, and even though I do get nervous about going to the dentist (because my teeth are very sensitive), he realizes this and is particularly careful when taking care of me.

Relaxed dentist, takes time to talk if asked. Did not over-treat: watched some areas until they needed filling, rather than filling immediately. Always on time, easy parking. Very helpful staff. (Only reason for not having a 4th star was lack of air suction & dams when removing amalgam which needed replacement.)

Dr. Feinstein is a very professional and kind person. I have been going to him for many years and I have always had a pleasant experience.
