I had extensive orthodontics with Haskell and the whole process was made unnecessarily tedious: From the first appointment, when he told me he could "make me pretty", to an interim when he couldn't tell my mom apart from the many young, female hygienists he employs and barked at her to grab a file, this orthodontist has neither any care for the individual patient nor the competence to complete procedures or billing as he's supposed to. Although we followed the track set by his initial consultation, the procedure ended up being $2000 more than quoted (AFTER insurance), 1.5 years longer, and overall very tedious. Had I not been seated somewhere within his open row of patient chairs (a blatant HIPAA violation) I don't think he'd ever have been able to discern me as someone who had interacted with him extensively. Dr. Haskell is initially very nice when trying to court new clients and then after any forms are signed turns into a completely rude, inattentive alter-ego. I wish he'd have paid more attention to the quality of his service than to his tacky office decorations and elastics color.
