Dr. Eickenhorst was recommended by both my dentist and my husband's dentist. He is considered the best in town by other dentists and I had an excellent outcome. Both my dad and my father-in-law were dentists, so we get good recommendations! Dr. Eickenhorst fixed my 15-year old root canal (done by someone else) that failed. I didn't know that could happen and it's pretty rare. His work is fast and efficient, plus he does follow-up exams for free every 3 to 6 months until he is satisfied that you are totally healed. His technical staff were courteous and efficient. The facilities are clean, modern and well equiped. They are able to develop xrays right by the patient's chair. I would not hesitate to recommend this dentist.

Dr. Eickenhorst did my root canal and tried to do another, but the tooth had to be extracted. His office is freezing and his staff not very friendly, but I think he is very good at his job. Hopefully I won't need another root canal, but if I do, I'll go back to him.

Very efficient, and painless, although the Dentist seemed to be doing the procedure while he was more concerned with other things.

I had a tough case of a collapsing tooth, and I wanted to keep it instead of removing it (I was only 40 at the time, and I didn't want to lose my natural teeth yet). My dentist referred me to Dr. Eickenhorst. He gave me a very grim outlook about the chances of success, but I decided to do it anyway. The operation succeeded and my tooth now has been holding on for more than 3 years. Overall treatment in his office is quite abusive. During my first appointment, with my tooth open and numb, he said "we are running out of time, and I have other patients, we will have to redo this over again in a future appointment." That is it! He closed the tooth and rescheduled me. Overall, while he is very good, he could use a lot of compassion and client-orientation.

I was referred to Dr. Eickenhorst, made appt. despite being warned that his chair side manner was on the chilly side. Never did experience his chair side manner because his receptionists turned me off by being unwelcoming and condescending when I asked about how they handled insurance claims. I cancelled my appt. with Dr. Eickenhorst and found another endodontist to spend my money with. Jessica O'Connell

Went to Julius to have root canal. He found that the tooth was split and had to be extracted. My jaw was already numb, and he refused to pull the tooth, (a 5 minute procedure) and still charged me $365 for his service. He sent me to another dentist who charged me $290 to simply pull the tooth. I am on limited income and since Julius is a dentist, he could have at least pulled the tooth instead of causing me to pay $700 for a tooth extraction.
