I found Dr. Hosaka’s office both incompetent and unethical. It was probably the single worst experience I’ve had with a service provider. It is 6 months later and I am still trying to get a reimbursement for my services, after a mistake they made. I have spent probably a total of 12 hours trying to get reimbursed. I strongly suggest you think twice before going to Dr. Hosaka.

If you like feedback on your health this is not the dentist to use. Every time I have gone to him he has made notes of my dental health without ever telling me about potential problems. Had he told me that I had a pre-cavity in between two teeth, I would have taken extra care to carefully floss it. He also bungled a routine small filling that resulted in moderate to extreme sensitivity for 12 months. One successful filling, one filling that was painful for about a year. I guess he is currently one for one. Next visit I will request a new dentist.
