Livonia Dental Care has exceeded my expectations of a dental office. The staff is very friendly (not like your typical office with the sliding glass window) and the doctors and hygienists really showed concern for my teeth. I recommend this office to all my friends coworkers and family.

Dr Nitzkin did an unnecessary, expensive, root canal on a tooth next to a cracked tooth, which had to be replaced with an expensive,bridge. I explained from the start that I was sure it was the tooth next to the one Dr Nitwit said needed the root canal. During the root canal they took another X-Ray, and informed me that it was in fact the tooth I had indicated and I would need an expensive Bridge. After great expense and a number of return visits to address an ongoing problem with an infected and oozing sore in the gum area above the bridge, that I explained felt like "there was something in there."..it was suggested it might be a sinus infection. I suffered severe headaches, a loss of appetite, among other things, paid for a cat scan, and after 18 Months of misery, the rather large piece of root left in the gum area began to protrude. Dr Nitzkin then pulled it out and charged my Insurance and billed me $100+. When I didn't pay right away he reported me to the Credit Bureaus..I had to pay him to restore my credit. Christine Kelly

Dr,Nitzkin and his amazeing staff, it all starts from when you walk into the office the ladys at the front desk all greet you by name its like they have know you forever. its so nice to be know as a name and not just another pt. Dr. jay is so very nice and he really listen to youre concerns. i have also seen both mae and renee (assistiants) and during my procedures they were so calming and reassured me everything would look so wonderful. the day afteri got my crown done and a few fillings Dr.Jay called me personally to see how i was doing. i was blown away by Dr.Nitzkin and all of his staff would reccomend this office to everyone i know

I loved the office. The staff and Dentists were very friendly and helpfull. They make you feel comfortable about going to the dentist.

This was the best trip to the dentist ever!!!! I had a dental emergency and was in so much pain. Dr. Nitzkin's staff got me in the same day and all of them were so caring. Dr. Jay was kind, attentive and very professional. He told me exactly what was wrong with my tooth and what we were going to do to fix it. I walked out of there relieved because I knew he would take the best care of me. I am a patient for life!

Hands down - best office and staff in Metro Detroit. Enjoyed going to the dentist more than ever before. Actually look forward to my next appointment!

On the plus side: Very nice atmosphere with a friendly staff. Very professional service with the latest technology available. Great chair side manner.
On the minus side: A tendency to over treat. No Friday or weekend hours.

Very nice and friendly! They make going to the dentist fun!! My teeth look great!!! The best customer service!! Dr. Jay personally calls you the next day to make sure that your teeth feel fine!
