Read Reviews for Dr. Timothy Bachman
Dr. Bachman seems like a very nice man. My only experience with him is a single procedure. It took two appointments and it was the most pain I've ever experienced in post-procedure (I've had 4 root canals and all my wisdom teeth removed). I've never had this procedue before so I'm not sure if the pain is unusual.
What I'm most disappointed with is that Dr. Bachman never told me that I needed a THIRD appointment to finish the procedure. As a result, my temporary filling fell out and I was unable to eat solid food over two weeks.
My final problem is that I called Dr. Bachman's office and received no response. I also called his 'emergency contact number' and received no response for 7 days. This may have been over his vacation but I feel that if you provide an emergency contact number, you should return those calls.
Overall, I'm supremely disappointed with Dr. Bachman but I also understand that many circumstances may have contributed to this situation. I don't want to hurt a man's career but this was a very poor and expensive experience.

The real test of a practitioner is whether their interests in the patient supercede all else, interests which are backed up by competency above and beyond the norm; this describes Dr. Bachman. Dr. Tim Bachman was the second endodontist to re-treat a failed root canal performed by a general dentist in Redmond 2 years prior (lesson: only have root canal therapy done by an endodontist). The first endodontist had all of the latest endodontic equipment, training, microscope, video, etc., in a very posh office. He worked over 3 hours on #15 over two appointments, but was unable to save the tooth and recommended extraction and an implant. On a visit to Dr. Bachman's office for an unrelated issue, to my surprise and relief, Dr. Bachman confidently stated that he could re-treat #15 successfully. His confidence was justified since he spared the tooth, just before the time I had planned to get it extracted! It's always preferable to conserve an existing tooth if at all possible, and that's where Dr. Bachman's focus was placed. His work saved me several surgeries for extraction, implant, sinus lift, etc., plus the ensuing pain, loss of work time, and expense. A heartfelt "Thank-you" to the astute, able Dr. Bachman and his assistant.
