Dr. James Skoney is a wonderful dentist who really tries to help his patients by thoroughly understanding the problem. He's fun, (good natured), well qualified, & works with the patients according to their limits. I've had to get procedures done twice only 2 times, and that was all because of my lack of understanding. I'd recommend him to anyone.
About Front Desk: The front desk staff is also great. I believe that it's up to the staff & patient to develop a decent relationship & ability to communicate well.

About Hygienist: Dr. Skoney also takes care of hygienist's responsibilities & I prefer it that way. He's clean, dear, gentle, & because of his good humor, the job gets done fast & easy.

Dr Skoney is a nice guy but he is definitely not a good dentist. He is too cheap to hire a hygienist so he attempts to clean your teeth. He flossed my teeth, no scraping, and no flouride and said "ok see you in six months". I was shocked! He also did a filling for me that had to be redone 2 months later.

Dr. Skoney is our family dentist and we have been very happy with him for years. He is that rare person who is completely conscientious and always does his best for the person in front of him. You never have to worry that he recommending a treatment that he does not believe is best for you. He won't give you a crown when a filling will do just to pay for his golf game. There might be valid differing opinions on any one situation, but with Dr. Skoney, you will always be confident that you are getting his BEST decision for you.

Dr Skoney is the very best! Very congenial, really cares about your dental health. He takes time with his patients as they are all important to him. Has done everything from fillings to root canals to veneers & crowns for our family and ensures that you have no pain. Does top-notch work on crowns, veneers to produce the most beautiful teeth. We have moved to another state, but still return to him for our dental care. He's willing to work with you on payments/insurance. He's not only a good dentist, but a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. I would recommend him over any dentist I know.
