Do not, repeat DO NOT go to Dr. Barbat for cosmetic dentistry! I paid her a much higher than standard fee to do my implant crown on my front tooth because I was led to believe that she was an expert at cosmetic dentistry. I never saw her again, the work was all done by her assistant and a Dr. S. It took over six months and four crowns and it is still not right!! In the middle of this fiasco I was informed that my case was taking up too much of her chair time... I cannot express enough what an inconvenience and nightmare this experience has been! Now I have to pay a new dentist for another crown unless I want to live with a titanium grey front tooth...

Pushes procedures almost every time, high pressure. Stated needed dental work 3 different time over 5 years and was surprised so got second opinion. Second opinion said there is no problem. This happened with bridge, supposed deep root disease, etc. Second opinions all with 3 different dentists said there is nothing wrong. I don't go there anymore.

Very over priced and she does work that is not needed!! She preformed a root canal and it was done incorrectly and had to be redone by another dentist.

I went to Dr. Barbats office to have a root canal. The doctor identified a couple of other area in my mouth that needed attention which I agreed to have her fix. The doctor had one of her assistance put on my crown after the root canal. My gums in that area have been irritated and sore ever sense. The other two teeth just needed fillings which they used veneers which are quite expensive. The doctor had her assistant do these veneers as well, the assistance said the decay wasnt deep enough to warrant numbing the area. So, she went ahead and put the cap on without numbing the tooth, this was the most excruciating pain I had ever felt! Now, I have a lot of pain in the areas Dr. Barbat had worked on. Also, I would like to point out that I had only seen Dr. Barbat twice. The rest of the time her assistances did all of the work. I kind of wonder if this is legal? I will never go to this "dentist" ever again!!!

Dr. Barbat is very professional and friendly, and has a new, high-tech facility with state-of-the-art equipment and computers, including fully adjustable flat-panel TVs in each examining room. You will get the best possible results here but your insurance will probably not cover a large portion of the cost.

The best. I worked in dentistry for years and prior to meeting Dr. Barbat and I chose to stick with Dr. Barbat because of her commitment to the care, quality and concern of her patients. Dr. Barbat believes the patient's time is just as important as hers, and as a result, she is committed to treating each patient at his or her appointment time. One never has to worry or question what services will be rendered because the staff of Dr. Barbat's will have gone over the treatment plan, insurance estimated payment as well as the patient's financial responsibility. I love the thoroughness of the practice. I love Dr. Barbat and her staff so much, that even though I relocated to Virginia August 31, 2007, I made a conscious decision to retain Dr. Barbat as my primary dentist. As a matter of fact, Dr. Barbat performed a root canal on one of my teeth on August 30, 2007 and I have not had any issues whatsoever with my tooth. It was my first root canal and not one of my family members or friends can believe it. Believe it because it's true. All I can say is that Dr. Barbat takes care of her patient's as if they are family and I feel blessed to be a part of Dr. Barbat's family of patients. Thank you Dr. Barbat, Joe and staff for all you do.

They really care! Everything from waiting time to quality treatment. Cleanings are gentle and they keep up on the latest. Dr Barbat's injections are painless and she's meticulous about her work. They answer all my questions and make me feel very comfortable

I've had veneers done with Dr. Barbat which turned out great! She has a light touch with great service! My girlfriend came to see her for whitening and she's very happy. My husband is scared out of his mind from dental work but he swears by her. She is awesome!
