Thompson has a systems type practice. He sees every patient as a producer of continuous income. I’m not knocking his technical skills, but he sees cavities where there are none and periodontal disease where there is none. His goals are monetary first and foremost.

Used Dr. Thompson for regular check-ups and cleaning. His staff is very aggressive and sales-oriented. Dr. Thompson seems like a decent fellow, but I could not tolerate his hard sell staff. Also, a bit on the pricey side.

Dr. Thompson's office is located in Bloomfield Township, in a small free-standing building in Bloomfield Village behind the shopping center at Maple and Lahser roads, and not in Troy as stated in this web-site.
Dr. Thompson took over the practice of Dr. Murray, who is retired.
I have found Dr. Thompson to be extremely competent and professional. My dentistry needs have been minimal; however, when I suffered a cracked tooth, Dr. Thompson saw me immediately and completed a temporary crown in one sitting. The permanent crown fits so well that I never give it a thought.
I expect to remain Dr. Thompson's patient as long as we are both here! I plan to have some cosmetic work done and when I do I will have Dr. thompson do it.
