Read Reviews for Dr. Gregory Isermann
i went to dr isermann in 2010 for a root canal. this was the second root canal for this tooth and i also had a crown on it as well. dr. isermann had to cut below the gum line and drill into my tooth from the side which saved me the cost of buying another crown. root canals are awful but if i needed another one, i would go back to dr. isermann. i've read other negative reviews of dr. isermann. i'm not sure what people expect. there are plenty of dimwit dentists around, but dr. isermann isn't one of them. i've gone to dentists for over 40 years, i know.

The worst experience of my life. He was insensitive to my pain level and JOKED about how I was clutching the chair arm. He also discussed how hungry he was to his assistance and asked her to go get him food. (while I was in the chair). During the break to let things "set" , he ate his lunch. I got out of the chair in shock and white as a sheet. And his comment was " another happy customer". I was in excrutiating pain afterward but he provided me with no meds. I called him as an emergency followup and his staff would't put me through. When I did finally speak to him he said "honey, it can't hurt that much". I ended up in the emergency room and needed shots of pain killer and strong antibiotics. I followed up with another dentist because my jaw had been hyperextended and bruised. It took OVER A YEAR before that side of my mouth was nearly pain free.
I know this doctor: 1 year

I thought Dr Isermann was excellent! His injections were nearly painless. He made me feel at ease and I loved his chairside manner. He really seemed to care. The facilities are very modest and the cost is probably average to above average but overall it was as pleasant an experience as one can expect from a dentist!

I can't complain about Dr. Isermann's dental expertise, but his chairside manner left a LOT to be desired. While I was having a root canal, part of the overhead dental light fell on my face, and he didn't even apologize!! The injection was painful, I was not given protective glasses, and I was generally left with the impression that he was interested only in getting the procedure done, with no interest in my comfort or experience. Hopefully my experience was one-of-a-kind...
