Dr. Leanza could have stayed a few extra minutes to fill my painful cavity but since it was Friday, he wanted to leave ASAP! But I understood this. Since I was in pain, I decided to ask for my x ray (since he couldn’t fill it for ONE WEEK), so that it would not have to be repeated (why expose myself to additional unnecessary radiation AND have to pay for another xray). He became irate when I asked for one single x ray of my tooth. Dr. Leanza was rude and unprofessional. After several minutes of him attempting to argue with me over my medical record AND insisting that I pay him twenty dollars for it, he finally agreed to give me the xray if I agreed not to come back. WHY WOULD I COME BACK TO ANYONE WHO IS RUDE AND DISPRESPECTUFL TO PATIENTS! He told me that I would have a hard time finding a dentist with my insurance (I am on Medicaid) and then told me to leave.
I would not want Dr. Leanza to provided dental services to my worst enemy. He had no regard for me as a patient and treated me less than a human being because of the type of insurance I have. I was a patient in pain in need medical attention but instead, I was disrespected and humiliated. Please do not go to this man!
