Paul Klausen is consistently competent in the dental care he provides. He is thorough and carefully explains his rationale for procedures and treatment. I greatly appreciate his convenient downtown location and availability. It has never been a problem to obtain an unexpected appointment due to an acute dental problem.
He is the most cheerful dentists I have ever had, one of those rare individuals who truly enjoys his work. I have recommended him to several co-workers and will continue to do so.
About Hygienist: Barb is a consistent, positive presence in this office. She has an excellent memory and recalls details of previous visits with ease. She is the most gentle, yet thorough dental hygienist that I have experienced.

I have known Dr. Klausen since he was in dental school. He was my neighbor in south Minneapolis. He once told me while he was in school; "You know I'm not one of those medical school rejects in dental school. I have always wanted to be a dentist and when I am done with school I want a dental practice in downtown Minneapolis." After completing dental school he went dental office to dental office in downtown Minneapolis until he found a dental practice to join. He is a great dentist who takes great pride in his work. His staff have been with him for many years and there is a wonderful camaraderie among them. Barb is ever so gentle and the best hygienist I have ever had. Heather is a great assistant and makes the office run smoothly. So, you have a GREAT Dentist,

Where else can one go in Minneapolis and receive such quality care served with a side dish of humor and sarcasm. I honestly look forward to my appointments with Paul and Barb. Dr Klausen is a provider of quality dental care, preaching preventive care. Of course this comes with a few irreverant comments and overhead blowup characters. The only challenge is getting in my own sarcastic outrageous comments while my mouth is full of dams and cotton. Heather is the perfect assistant, she "plays" the straight role . She is always in step with the treatments.
I highly recommend Paul Klausen DDS. His skills have treated my various dental challenges, root canals, crowns and TMJ with success.
About Hygienist: Barb is the #1 hygienist of all time. She is gentle and thorough. I've never walked away from a hygiene apointment with a painful mouth.

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Klausen. Haven't any any major procedures, but the work he's done has been great. It's over and done before you know it, with a minimum of discomfort. His personality makes the difference.

I really like Dr. Paul and his staff. He is upbeat and witty and I always feel very comfortable in his capable hands. Heather is a great nurse and a sweetheart and Barb is an excellent hygienist. A great team all around.

Dr. Paul rocks! He is accomodating, listens to what you have to say and is quite obviously good at what he does.

For the first time, I don't mind going to the dentist! The staff is always personable. Dr. Klausen takes the time to review your individual plan with you and does excellent work. I'm very pleased with what he's done.

I've been a patient of Dr. Klausen for several years. He and his staff are always cheerful, friendly, accomodating and very professional. It's a very comfortable setting. Best of all, the office is on the 18th floor of the Foshay Tower, so you can check out the incredible views instead of reading old Readers Digests in the waiting area! Second best thing: If you drive downtown for your appointment, you can park in the heated garage of the Foshay Tower, free of charge (with a voucher from Dr. Klausen's office). Not sure how long the free parking lasts, but I've gone out and done some shopping for a couple of hours after my appointment and still didn't have to pay. Bottom line: Excellent dentist, great staff, and a truly unique location.
