I've been a patient of Dr. Engrstrand for over 15 years and I couldn't be happier. The staff are very professional, friendly, and they ensure I have the best possible experience during my visits. I had a bridge for my front teeth that has improved my smile considerably, root canals, periodontal work and other procedures. I'm now on a regular, twice a year maintenance program that ensures I retain my teeth othrough my golden years.
I especially enjoy listening to my favorite music during my procedures with their CD player and headphones. I used to hate going to the dentist, now I look forward to every visit.
About Hygienist: I get my teath cleaned twice a year and have experienced all of the hygienists at Dr. Engstrand's office. They're efficient, not at all rough in how they do their cleaning and thorough. I'm usually done in 30 minutes and my teeth feel clean and look nice and white.

Extremely rude. Announced loudly to all that I had some decayed teeth as if trying to embarrass me. Denied pain medication despite obvious infection and cavity. Serviced deteriorated over time.

A very good experience. He's a down-to-earth person and makes you feel very comfortable. A very good dentist too. He did a crown for me and it was the best work I've had done. Thanks.

Dr Engstrand and his staff are top notch- I met him first on a Sat with an emergant visit- and there is no one else that I would rather see or take my children to. I hate the dentist- and each time he has made me feel comfortable. He is genuine and sincere, and again, the office staff are so pleasant and reassuring also. Glad we found him!

My family started coming to Dr. Gordon Engstrand about 9 years ago. He has proven to be an excellent dentist and his office staff is particularly courteous and helpful. Dr. Engstrand is detail-oriented and discusses options with you. My husband and I both had many cavities when we were young, and this has caused us to need a lot of replacements -- including crowns, bridges and new fillings. Although Dr. Engstrand has recommended a lot of work for both of us (which we don't always welcome :), it has been verified by others as necessary and preventive. He accepts both Delta Dental (commonly accepted) and the Signature reduced-fee plan (not commonly accepted and a good additional discount).
When we moved to the Twin Cities 14 years ago we started with another dentist. Unfortunately, she did not do a lot of preventive work, and the one crown she gave me had to be replaced within five years. Dr. Engstrand had to re-do that as well as some other dental work on my husband -- and did a great job. He was recommended to us by other dentists. He is a bit curt at first, but he warms up over time and is always willing to talk with you about the dental problem and options.

I have been to Dr. Engstrands office several times, and each and every time it has been an extremely pleasant experience. He always makes you feel comfortable and his staff is very nice.

The best! never been to a dentist like Gordy before. Always makes you feel comfortable and never over charges or gives unnecessary procedures.

Great! He makes sure you are relaxed, gives you a cd player and tells you to zone out. I hate dentists, but have had great experiences when going to him. I reccommended him to my scared sister, and she loves him also.
