Thank you Dr. Portis for giving me a movie star smile! I used to worry about my teeth, now all I do is show them off! Cost was reasonable too. I love referring everybody to your clinic in White Bear!
About Front Desk: Everyone at Dr. Crandall & Associates knows me and my family on a first name basis. It's really a nice clinic with great staff
About Hygienist: The hygienists that work at Dr. Crandall & Associates are the best around.

Dr portis was very attentive and wonderful kind dentist. it is my important need to relocate and visit her again. since i moved i have put off seeing a dentist and she is the 1st dentist i would perfer seeing.

Probably the worst dentist I have ever used. Her standards for color matching bridges, caps and fillings are poor. She supposedly specializes in cosmetic dentistry. I had to have one of her bridges replaced after one year becaused it wasn't sealed properly. She uses cheap companies for the bridge and cap work and it shows in malformed teeth and poor color. She told me she couldn't alter the color of a bridge without having it completely redone and the lab was balking at redoing it. According to the dentist who replaced that bridge that 's wrong and if a dentist doesn't get it right say no and go else where. She is personable but needs retraining or some serious ethics rethinking. She also asks her dental assts. to do way more than they are trained to do and had this confirmed by one of my friends who was a dental asst.. One of her assts.broke my tooth as she struggled with inserting a bridge . Portis would work with two assts I believe to increase the amount of patients she could see. The assts. did work she should have done risking the patient's welfare. Don't go to her, however don't blame the dental group that hired her they didn't know. She has left two practices in the last year and is not employed currently.
