Read Reviews for Dr. Robert Thielman
I hadn't seen a dentist in 20 years. I was told I had an impacted wisdom tooth after a cat scan. I went in to get a referral to an oral surgeon. After a fairly painful initial exam, Dr Thielman looked at my xrays and said my wisdom teeth shouldn't be removed, called me middle aged (I'm 33) and told me I had cavities. I made an appointment to have the cavities filled and 3 more to get my teeth cleaned. A week later I came back and sat through another painful procedure (which left me numb for 5 hours after I left the facility). Before leaving, I made another appointment for this week for more fillings. That was 8 days ago and my teeth have hurt every single day. Since I had another appointment this week, I decided to wait it out and talk to him about it when I came in next. I went back yesterday expecting to talk to Dr Thielman about my tooth pain only to be told I didn't have an appointment. Apparently the receptionist failed to mark my appointment in their calendar despite handing me an appointment card. I didn't even get an apology from the receptionist even though I had taken time off work for the appointment and it was her mistake.
About Hygienist: Don't know her name. She examined me after Dr Thielman's initial exam and she hurt me worse than he did.

I am finally to the age where I can choose my dentist, and I will not be going back to Dr. Thielman. I feel that he has done work on my teeth that has not been necessary and his staff make me nervous everytime I go. In addition, he continues working, even when you state you are in pain!
