Dr. Lau is an honest dentist who does excellent work. He is very friendly and puts you at ease. I've had no problems with any of the work he performed on me which includes a root canal/crown and fillings. He's honest in that he doesn't perform unnecessary work. Once I inquired about tooth whitening and he didn't try to sell me any expensive procedure. I had a possible early sign of a cavity and he didn't want to start drilling right away either, he just said to make sure to brush that area more carefully and he'd check it on the next visit.
I saw him for many years as a teenager and college student. I've since moved and can no longer see him unfortunately. For those of you that can, I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Wai Lau does a really good job in teeth cleaning because he's one of the best in San Francisco. One of my friends has been going to his place for couple years and he thinks that he does a really good job. I would encourage the people out there in San Francisco to go to his placeto give it a try.
