My parents have gone to Dr Collins for years, so when I had ANOTHER bad experience with a dentist my mom suggested that I see Dr Collins. I went on last Friday to have three root canals and build ups on several teeth. Now I have to say that the words "root canal" scared me pretty bad, and so did the looks on the faces on people when I told them how much work I was having done. I chose to do sedation as I was extremely nervous. To my surprise I had no pain at all through the weekend. I felt really good and was able to go back to my "normal life" the day after. My results might be unusual but after all of the dentists that I have been to that I was miserable after I left and for a week after this was AMAZING!! I would recommend Dr Collins and his staff to anyone. They are extremely nice and pleasant to work with. They really care about their patients, and do everything in their power to make you comfortable and do everything in their power to make your treatment plan work with you. If you cant tell from all that I typed here, my experince was better than I expected.
About Hygienist: All of the girls that I have dealt with in the office are very nice and pleasant. They have treated me with respect and genuinely care about me and my teeth and needs.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Collins for over 15 years. We love him and his staff and they know us all on a first-name basis. They treat you like family and do everything they can to make you comfortable and at ease. Dr. Collins has a very pleasant chair-side manner and listens to your concerns and explains everything he does before he starts to work. He did a root-canal for me 3 years ago and I must say it was about as pleasent as a root-canal could be! Dr. Collins' office is not in-network for my current dental insurance, but I gladly pay the little extra to keep seeing him. I would highly reccomend Dr. Collins to anyone looking for a family dentist in the eastern Kansas City area.

I currently reside in Boston and fly home to visit Dr Collins for my checkups and any other dental needs. The office is an amazing place to be and the care you receive is splendid! The hygienists are awesome and the receptionist too. I had a bridge done with 5 new teeth and am constantly getting compliments on my smile. I was initially scared to have the procedure done and Dr Collins assured me everything would be fine. As it turns out, it was better than fine and I would do it again any day. I wouldn't let anyone else touch these teeth.
