I went to Dr. Luther for 17 years. Suffice it to say, much of the work done on my teeth was done by him. However, I wonder at this point how much was necessary. I had two experiences which concerned me. The first being that he was very uninformed about the risks of teeth whitening for me while pregnant/breastfeeding. He was wishy washy in his answers and did not even try to find answers to my questions. He would just say he didn't know about the risks and that it was up to me. I chose to wait, just to be cautious.
In the second situation, he said that I had a cracked tooth. My confidence in him was somewhat shaken because of the whitening information, so I went to another dentist for a second opinion. Without telling the new dentist my situation, she checked my tooth and verified that it was NOT cracked. I called and spoke to Dr. Luther's receptionist and told her why I was not coming back. I had an outstanding bill of $300 that they very quickly zeroed out. Interesting!!! I was so disappointed - I had trusted him for so long and now I feel like I can never trust a dentist again.

Dr. Luther is an excellent dentist and has taken care of me as well as my daughter. He has great chair-side manners and his assistants do as well. He's gentle and caring about his patients. His front desk is very helpful and friendly in regard to answering questions regarding insurance and setting up follow-up appointments if needed. I would highly recommend Dr. Luther to anyone needing dental care.
