Found out today that what he charged me for dental plate was way over the cost of other dentists. Plus he tried to talk me into buying a posted tooth at $5000.00. The partial plate cost me with all the xrays, almost $4000.00. I believe he may be nice but way too expensive and I'll never go back. If you like paying more than other dentists go ahead.

I had a routine cleaning and x-ray screening done at Dr. Bles' office a few months ago. While the staff and the dentist were very nice, I would never go back again. I had to wait for over 45 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. There was not much privacy between rooms. The dental chair area needs renovation. After I was finished, I went to rinse my mouth out in the sink and I couldn't get the faucet to turn off, a problem that the hygienist seemed to be aware of as she offered to help me figure it out.
I have never been weary of dentists before this experience. I have never before had such a painful dental cleaning. My gums bled horribly during and after the cleaning. I believe he used some sort of a high pressure water pick to clean rather than, or in addition to regular dental instruments, and he wasn't very careful not to hit my gums several times. It was very painful; like being stabbed with needles. He pulled my mouth back and forth and I got splashed in the eye more than once. The chair side manner was very poor. He seemed to be in a big hurry to finish as quickly as possible. I think he was overbooked, but I don't think that is an excuse for such a poor experience.

Dr. Bles has a good manner about him. I saw him for one visit and a followup which I have had to reschedule. One fairly disconcerting aspect of my visit was noticing just how bad Dr. Bles own teeth actually look. Part of the reason I logged onto this site actually. At any rate I was made to feel very comfortable and feel like I got good care, but the bad teeth thing was very odd to me. Might be a good thing since he has no doubt experienced the problems that most people have with their teeth. Anyway, I had a good experience and would recommend him. Curious what others think though.

Dr. Bles is an extremely efficient dentist with a kind heart. He is very
considerate of the patient at all times and sets the patient at ease with
his easy going personality and good humor. His work is excellent
and his support staff are very friendly and helpful. I have always feared
my trips to the dentist due to negative childhood experiences, but Dr. Bles has completely alleviated my apprehension with
his professional and compassionate approach to dentristy. I recently
had an abscessed molar which required a root canal and a crown due
to my own neglect. Dr. Bles was willing to take me on as his patient
under rather diverse conditions and in no time at all I was through the
crisis and on my way to recovery. The entire procedure was virtually pain-free.
