I can't say enough good things about Dr. Shortell & Glenda, his asst. They are great at working you in especially for an emergency, which I recently had. I needed a root canal and was immediately referred to a specialist and got in within 2hrs! I had been out of work without insurance, he didn't charge me for entire procedure since I had been a long time patient. I was really taken aback by his generosity. Dr. Shortell is very ethical, he always has the patient's best interest at heart. I've always been at ease during procedures, so relaxed that I forget I'm having a filling done. He is very thorough and uses the latest technology. He has a modest office but the atmosphere is comfortable and soothing. Nice relaxing music. When you are in the chair, his attention is on you and your comfort. He makes sure that you're alright especially during a long procedure. Many members of my family go to him. We wouldn't have it any other way!
About Hygienist: He does his own work. Very thorough.

I have gone to this dentist for 20+ years. He has always done excellent work. I have no problem getting in for a office visit. He does not leave you sitting in the waiting room, he does not overbook and you are seen very close to your appointment time. I moved 20 miles to the West and am happy to make the drive for my appointments for the excellent servive. His secretary/assisstant is excellent and very professional as well.

I was scared of death of dentists until my wife forced me to go see Dr. Shortell. Now I don't mind going to the see him, he is very nice, professional and puts you at ease very quickly and easliy. He is always on time. I have never had to wait and just walk in and into the chair.

From start to finish - very professional, extremely pleasant, relatively pain-free, highly successful procedure. I have had broken front teeth fixed by Dr. Shortell (bonding) and always left his office with a great smile! He and his assistant are both awesome and I highly recommend his office for your next dental experience.

Dr. Shortell is a wonderful and talented dentist. His calm, kind, and competent manner even gets the most feared dental patients relaxed. Dr. Shortell is informed and gives sound dental advice. His "chair-side manner" is 100% professional and fun (can you believe I am saying that about the dentist?!) Dr. Shortell performs all dental procedures, including dental hygiene himself, even to the point of cleaning your teeth! Glenda his assistant is sweet and professional. In 20+ years I have never felt this comfortable about my trip to the dentist.
Just one more fact that needs acknowledgement...Dr. Shortell is the very gentle and painfree practioner.

Dr. Shortell is by far the best Dentist I have ever encountered. He doesn't overbook patients, you are the one and only patient being worked on so you get one on one personal attention. You don't feel like you are on an assembly line. You feel no pain, his assistant is wonderful....I should stop now because I don't want to start a stampede.
