I've been seeing Dr. Dawkins for over 5 years. He and his entire staff are always extremely friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable. Their prices are extremely fair and they've always treated me well.

Dr. Dawkins over-charges by a ridiculous amount - typically $1,000 for a root canal plus another $1,000 for a crown. A crown without a root canal still costs $1,000 (actually, $1,015, to be exact). I have also noticed that he waits until he's in the middle of a major treatment - a root canal, for example - to casually mention other problems he has supposedly just noticed. He will say, "You want me to go ahead and fix that one, too?" He makes it sound very quick and simple. If you say yes (especially when you're under the gas), you will then get a bill for $2,000 instead of $1,000. This has happened to me several times, and I have finally become highly suspicious of his little tricks.
