I was quoted a price and asked if i wanted to proceed with treatment. I agreed to continue with a crown and paid the amount agreed upon up front, as required. One month later i received a bill in the mail for an additional $400. They say they check your insurance, but they actually just estimate based on your policy and a best case coverage scenario. I.e. they don't take into account yearly maximums, waiting periods or any other limitations.
