Dr. Hufanda's lack of experience and unethical practices has left my mouth/teeth in a horrible condition. He put crowns on my upper front (8) and my bite has been off since then (which he couldn't fix) and now I have receding gums on almost every lower tooth. I also have grinding at night that I never had before - guards will not fix this. In addition, my front crown came loose and when I went in to get it cemented back on he said he couldn't get it off (2 times I went in) to properly cement it. I went into another office and he got it off in 2 seconds and cemented it. The worst part was that it was foul play on Dr. Hufanda's part as he knew how to take it off and if he truly didn't then he shouldn't even be in practice. Yes, his nice personality will definitely fool you. Go spend your money elsewhere. Even his partner couldn't fix my bite and my crowns were shaved down so thin in the back that I have to be very careful. Yes, lower in cost than some others, but in the long run - far more money will have to be spent or you'll have to live with the horrible job. Again - don't let the atmosphere and nice personalities fool you because deep down he's definitely not who he portrays to be. Not to be trusted!

Dr. Hufanda's inexperience and unethical practices has ruined my gums and teeth. I had cosmetic dentistry performed and he was never able to get my bite right, which has now resulted in receeding gums, clenching, etc.
I went back numerous times and I now know that he was totally wasting my time. He wasn't even able to get off the loose crown (loose because it wasn't done right... by him) when it took another dentist 2 seconds and I was told he was just wasting my time as any dentist would know how to do that. So I'm very disappointed to see that he really doesn't have any integrity.
His staff said nothing which says volumes on the entire practice.
I would not recommend this dentist to anyone - total waste of my money. Pay someone else that knows how to do the job right the first time!

I found Dr. Hufanda to be a very kind and considerate dentist. He will not try to "sell" you anything you don't need and he takes your budget into consideration. He spends whatever time is required to talk to you about treatment and, realistically, what can be done. His chair side manner is outstanding and so is his work.

It was the most ever pleasant visit to a dentist office when i
went to see Dr. Hufanda, i was blown away by his kindness
and gentleness.
Dr. Hufanda and his staff are very friendly and make me feel very comfortable, great atmosphere, wonderful experience.
Anybody that needs a great smile deffinetly has to see Dr. Hufanda

Dr. Joseph Hufanda is one of the best!
I have been very self conscious about my smile for several years. I have had problems with my gums and the look of my front teeth due to old, metal crowns.
Dr. Hufanda worked to get my gums healthy again and placed new, metal free crowns and veneers on my front teeth. It's so nice to smile without worry!
Dr. Hufanda made every effort to make sure that he understood my concerns and the expectations I had regarding my teeth. He worked with me until I was totally satisfied with the new look and shape of my teeth. Patsy, his assistant, was also wonderful throughout the process. She made sure that I felt comfortable with every procedure.
Truly, everyone in the office has been very kind and professional. The group responsible for appointments and insurance billing made the process less stressful as well.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Hunfanda. Along with the outstanding professional work he does, Dr. Hufanda is also an extremely nice person!

Weeks later, I am still in awe at the transformation of my smile! Prior to my visit at Ballantyne Center for Dentistry, I had 6 veneers on my front teeth. The veneers were bulky, started to chip and looked very unnatural. While I expected a positive change in my smile, Dr. Joseph Hufanda accomplished what I thought was impossible. He gave me a smile that is incredibly natural, beautiful, glamorous and full of confidence. Dr. Joseph Hufanda is exceptionally gifted - a true dental artist, a genius in my eyes. Throughout the process, he was very gentle and patient, and he showed much concern for my comfort. The entire staff at Ballantyne Center for Dentistry was sincerely caring and supportive - I felt that I had my own cheerleading squad!
In addition to the superior quality of treatment and the friendliness of the staff, I experienced a relaxing spa-like environment with soothing sounds, heated massage chairs, and fun movies. This is by far, the best experience I have ever had in a dental office.
I am very thankful to Dr. Hufanda for my smile and I highly recommend him to everyone.

The overall experience was wonderful. I went to Dr. Hufanda with a fear of dentists and many dental problems. In less than 1 year I have a totally new smile and mouth. I used sedation denistry for the major items such as 2 implants. 2 root canals, 5 veneers, crowns and a bridge.
Dr. Joe, Patsy and Kim (dental assistants) were wonderful as was Jennifer and the rest of the staff. If you could see my before and after pictures you would not believe I am the same person.
I highly recommend Dr. Hufanda and his staff as a place to go if you do like your smile or just for TLC routine denistry. I had not visited a dentist on a regular basis due to fear and I finished my last appointment to complete my implants with no sedation or novacaine so I have really
come along way with the help of Dr. Hufanda, Patsy and Kim.
