I went to Dr. Brown for a chipped tooth that she was able to buffer. She charged me 80.00 just to do this. I called to make an appointment for a cleaning and to get a composite filling on a molar fixed that chipped off. I had to cancel my appointment 3 times due to health problems. I apologized and explained my situation and even offered to pay a fee the next time I rescheduled. I called today 6-11-14 to schedule for cleaning and to get my molar fixed and the receptionist told me she would have to talk to Dr. Brown to see if she could even continue seeing me as a patient. While I understand where they are coming from for 3 missed appointments, I did explain my health problems and it seemed as if the receptionist had no empathy towards my situation. I already had reservations about coming back due to how unapproachable Dr. Brown seemed; however, I thought maybe she was having a bad day and would give them another chance. I didn't even wait for the receptionist to call me back because I felt so uncomfortable. I have never heard of a dentist dismissing a patient. I have heard of paying a cancellation fee. I found a new dentist today and hope to have better luck. I do not recommend going to Dr. Michelle Brown in Garner, NC.
About Front Desk: There is one receptionist there who is very friendly, but the other is very rude. I wish I could remember their names, but cannot remember their names as I believe they didn't even state their name upon answering the telephone.

Dr. Brown was awesome very relaxed and caring. she seemed very thorough and informed. I look forward to the next visit.
About Hygienist: The whole office was very cool and light. very nice atmoshere. The girls are extremely easy going.

For over 40 years I had a fear of dentists and bad experiences, but Dr. Brown and her staff have always provided me exceptional care and treatment for several years and wish I had switched to her practice years ago! I no longer have anxiety before my appointments and do not require any sedation. I have also been pain free after appointments and only require a tylenol on occasion for mild after treatment discomfort (new crown, filling or deep cleaning). I would highly recommend her to anyone!!!
About Hygienist: I must have hygiene treatment four times a year to avoid future peridontal surgeries. Her hygienists have been very thorough and I continue to have positive results in a pain free environment!
