Dr. Surface changed 8 crowns (old mercury fillings that were cracking my teeth) and does my routine dental care. He's very thoughtful and explains what everything is. A good soul! I don't know how his fees compare, we don't have dental insurance and I haven't shopped other providers. I definitely recommend him!

Beautiful office, the staff all used my name and was very pleasant. My visit was painless and comfortable, and they actually stopped and listened when I talked, (something that has not always happened when I went to the dentist elsewhere)

I came to the Charlotte Area for the summer from New York and found that I had tooth sensitivity once I got down here. Dr. Surface was able to help me by shaving down a filling and then later refering me to a root canal specialist. His staff went out of their way to work around my busy schedual. And even went so far as to bring in the specialist who made my cap four days before I left charlotte so that he was ready and availible if any adjustments in color were needed. Dr. Surface and his staff were always pleasent, remembered topics that we had discussed on prior visits, and always made me feel at home. I would recomend him to anyone needing a first class dentist. I also found him to be rather afordable in comparrison to my dentist in NY.

I am a high anxiety dental patient but I can go into Dr. Surface's office with reasonable stress levels. He is very kind, gentle and I love the work. The entire staff seems dedicated to me while I am there.
