They allow parents to go back with the children, and will schedule appointments for the whole family together. The office isn't the most new or modern, but the staff are all very nice, it's always clean, and they are helpful dealing with the insurance. The actual dental work has been problematic, however. Dr. Eric Bufano said our 3-year-old needed fillings. His wife was going to do the work, but didn't seem able to deal with small children very well and had to refer us to a pediatric dentist - who found that my child actually needed root treatments, caps and more! How could the Bufanos have missed this entirely? As for my own dental work - crown and fillings - it was painless, but I have had problems ever since. The crown doesn't fit right, despite several visits, and the gum around it often bleeds. One filling was drilled so deep, and not filled adequately, that the tooth cracked and now I have constant pain, was referred to an endodontist, and will end up with a root canal.
About Hygienist: The hygienist is a sweetheart, but very aggressive in cleaning. I always have to take pain-killers after I see her. She's very good with the kids, though.
