Read Reviews for Dr. Richard Miller Ii
I was a teenager at the time, and Dr. Miller II didn't have so many gray hairs. My experience with him is over a decade ago, and was for braces.
At one point I had a bracket become loose. He was unable to attach another bracket after several attempts. Later he falsely accused me of doing something to cause the bracket to become unattached from my tooth, and said that if the bracket had remained on, that I would no longer need the braces at that point.
He used a metal band in place. I now have a permanent recession in my gums around that tooth, likely due to the metal band. The possibility of this consequence and possible preventative measures were never explained to me.
Additionally, at one appointment, I was left in a room for over an hour with a device holding my mouth open. While I can imagine someone else may have been having an emergency at the time, I was never told of such, and I spent a long time with my jaw in an incredibly uncomfortable position.
My teeth are much straighter than they would have been. I refused to wear my retainer because of my dislike of Dr. Miller II and my desire to never return to his office. I wish my mom had spent money on a different orthodontist.
